Le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant, il est recommand\u00e9 de consulter un m\u00e9decin v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire pour qu\u2019il vous conseille les m\u00e9thodes de pr\u00e9vention et les produits de contr\u00f4le \u00e0 utiliser.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #171b4b;\">Comme les chats se toilettent minutieusement, il peut \u00eatre difficile de trouver des puces sur eux ou de discerner leur pr\u00e9sence. Si vous soup\u00e7onnez la pr\u00e9sence de puces ou un cas de dermatite allergique aux piq\u00fbres de puces, un traitement devrait \u00eatre entrepris, peu importe si des puces ou des d\u00e9jections de puces sont trouv\u00e9es ou non sur les chats.<\/span><\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #bc202e;\"><b>Tiques<\/b><\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"color: #171b4b;\">D\u2019un point de vue scientifique, les tiques appartiennent \u00e0 la classe des arachnides (<i>Arachnida<\/i>), dont font partie les araign\u00e9es. Il existe environ 800 esp\u00e8ces de tiques dans le monde, mais seulement deux familles de tiques,\u00a0<i>Ixodidae<\/i>\u00a0(tiques dures) et\u00a0<i>Argasidae<\/i>\u00a0(tiques molles), sont reconnues pour transmettre des maladies aux humains. Les tiques dures sont munies d\u2019un \u00e9cusson (pi\u00e8ce dorsale dure) sur leur dos, tandis que les tiques molles n\u2019en ont pas. Les tiques sont petites et souvent difficiles \u00e0 voir. Les tiques immatures, appel\u00e9es nymphes, ont environ la taille d\u2019une graine de pavot.
