    1. Prenez soin du pelage de votre chat <\/strong><\/p>

    Il est important de brosser votre chat, m\u00eame s’il est un excellent toiletteur. Les chats \u00e0 poils longs ont tout particuli\u00e8rement besoin d’un brossage fr\u00e9quent pour garder leur pelage en bonne sant\u00e9. Consultez votre m\u00e9decin v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire pour savoir quelle brosse convient le mieux \u00e0 votre chat.<\/p>

    2. Stimulez constamment votre chat<\/strong><\/p>

    Certains chats n’ont peut-\u00eatre pas besoin d’autant d’attention que les chiens, mais ils ont quand m\u00eame besoin d’un peu d’attention et d’affection ainsi que de stimulation mentale. En votre absence, assurez-vous qu’il y a des jouets pour occuper et divertir votre chat.<\/p>

    3. Apprenez \u00e0 conna\u00eetre le langage corporel de votre chat <\/strong><\/p>

    S’informer sur les bases du langage corporel des chats peut renforcer le lien qui vous unit. Voici quelques exemples qui peuvent vous aider\u00a0:<\/p>

    Queue tenue bien haute : Confiant.
    Queue dress\u00e9e et h\u00e9riss\u00e9e : Se sent menac\u00e9.
    Ventre expos\u00e9\u00a0: S’\u00e9tire simplement ou se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 se battre.
    Dos \u00e9pingl\u00e9, oreilles plates\u00a0: Chaton tr\u00e8s en col\u00e8re ou effray\u00e9.
    Oreilles droites et hautes\u00a0: Alert\u00e9 par quelque chose.<\/p>

    4. Apprenez \u00e0 tenir et \u00e0 caresser correctement votre chat<\/strong><\/p>

    Cela peut sembler anodin, mais il est important de garder un chat pr\u00e8s de votre corps lorsque vous le tenez dans vos bras afin de lui procurer un sentiment de confort et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Certains chats n’aiment toutefois pas qu’on les prenne et qu’on les tienne. Portez donc attention \u00e0 la r\u00e9action du chat et posez-le par terre s’il ne semble pas vouloir \u00eatre tenu.\u00a0<\/p>

    Les chats aiment et pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement le contact physique sous forme de caresses dans la zone de la t\u00eate et du cou. De plus\u00a0: Bon nombre de chats n’aiment pas se faire caresser le ventre.<\/p>

    5. Apprenez \u00e0 couper les griffes de votre chat de la bonne fa\u00e7on<\/strong><\/p>

    La coupe des griffes est une partie importante du toilettage, surtout si vous avez un chat qui pr\u00e9f\u00e8re rester \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur. Les griffes coinc\u00e9es peuvent s’arracher. Elles peuvent aussi se recourber en repoussant et percer les adorables coussinets de votre chat. Un coussinet perfor\u00e9 peut \u00e0 son tour s’infecter.<\/p>

    6. Adaptez l’alimentation de votre chat <\/strong><\/p>

    Pour bien prendre soin de votre chat, il est essentiel d’adapter son alimentation \u00e0 son \u00e2ge, \u00e0 son niveau d’activit\u00e9 et \u00e0 ses besoins en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9.
