La cataracte, qui d\u00e9crit l\u2019\u00e9tat du cristallin qui prend une couleur laiteuse ou gris bleut\u00e9, peut causer des probl\u00e8mes de vision, y compris la c\u00e9cit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"3\">\n \t<li><strong><strong><span style=\"color: #bc202e;\">Ulc\u00e8res corn\u00e9ens <\/span><\/strong><\/strong>La corn\u00e9e est la membrane externe transparente de l\u2019\u0153il qui laisse p\u00e9n\u00e9trer la lumi\u00e8re. Les l\u00e9sions ouvertes touchant cette membrane sont appel\u00e9es ulc\u00e8res corn\u00e9ens. Ces l\u00e9sions peuvent \u00eatre dues \u00e0 une blessure, une infection, une alt\u00e9ration de la production des larmes ou \u00e0 d\u2019autres anomalies. Les signes et sympt\u00f4mes des ulc\u00e8res corn\u00e9ens sont les suivants : opacit\u00e9 de la corn\u00e9e, douleur, fermeture de l\u2019\u0153il, rougeur et, dans certains cas, \u00e9coulement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"4\">\n \t<li><strong><span style=\"color: #bc202e;\">M\u00e9lanose de l\u2019iris <\/span><\/strong>La m\u00e9lanose de l\u2019iris se manifeste par l\u2019apparition de taches sur l\u2019iris, disque color\u00e9 entourant la pupille, habituellement chez les chats de 7 ans ou plus. Une pigmentation fonc\u00e9e peut \u00eatre le signe d\u2019un m\u00e9lanome de l\u2019iris (un type de cancer).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"5\">\n \t<li><strong><span style=\"color: #bc202e;\">Glaucome <\/span><\/strong>Le glaucome chez le chat est une urgence m\u00e9dicale. Lorsque les liquides contenus dans l\u2019\u0153il ne peuvent plus se drainer, cela engendre une pression oculaire excessive, le glaucome. Le glaucome cause de la douleur au chat, qui peut perdre la vue, et m\u00eame ses yeux.
