Abc\u00e8s<\/b><\/span><\/h3>

L\u2019abc\u00e8s est une masse douloureuse remplie de pus qui peut se former lorsque la plaie caus\u00e9e par une morsure d\u2019animal ou une lac\u00e9ration est infect\u00e9e par une bact\u00e9rie.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Dermatite de contact<\/b><\/span><\/h3>

La dermatite de contact est une r\u00e9action allergique caus\u00e9e par l\u2019exposition \u00e0 une substance particuli\u00e8re ou \u00e0 un irritant chimique. L\u2019allergie au caoutchouc ou au plastique (p. ex. le bol de nourriture du chat) peut se manifester par une inflammation et l\u2019apparition de boursoufflures rouges accompagn\u00e9es de d\u00e9mangeaisons.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Mites d\u2019oreille\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/h3>

Les mites d\u2019oreilles causent beaucoup d\u2019inconfort au chat et peuvent le rendre fou si rien n\u2019est fait. Le chat atteint secoue ou penche la t\u00eate, se gratte, se frotte l\u2019oreille avec sa patte et on peut voir des s\u00e9cr\u00e9tions brun fonc\u00e9 ou une substance cireuse dans le conduit auditif.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Acn\u00e9 f\u00e9line\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/h3>

Des points noirs, ou com\u00e9dons, parfois dus \u00e0 une dermatite, peuvent appara\u00eetre sur le menton et la l\u00e8vre inf\u00e9rieure du chat. C\u2019est l\u2019acn\u00e9 f\u00e9line, qu\u2019un shampoing et des suppl\u00e9ments pourront soulager.<\/span><\/p>

Dermatite allergique aux morsures de puces<\/b><\/span><\/h3>

Les chats qui souffrent de dermatite allergique aux morsures de puces sont en fait allergiques \u00e0 la salive des puces. Apr\u00e8s seulement une ou deux morsures, le chat \u00e9prouve des d\u00e9mangeaisons intenses. Des boutons apparaissent, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pr\u00e8s de la queue, sur les pattes arri\u00e8re et \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des cuisses. Un contr\u00f4le antipuce efficace est essentiel.<\/span><\/p>

Allergie alimentaire\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/h3>

Certains ingr\u00e9dients et agents de conservation peuvent causer des r\u00e9actions allergiques chez les chats. Les allergies alimentaires entra\u00eenent des d\u00e9mangeaisons intenses, l\u2019enflure des paupi\u00e8res et une perte de poils, et touchent en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral la t\u00eate, le cou et le dos du chat. Les mordillements et le grattage aggravent le probl\u00e8me en causant des plaies qui peuvent s\u2019infecter.<\/span><\/p>

Alop\u00e9cie psychog\u00e8ne\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/h3>

L\u2019alop\u00e9cie psychog\u00e8ne r\u00e9sulte d\u2019un comportement compulsif caus\u00e9 par le stress. Elle d\u00e9coule essentiellement d\u2019un l\u00e9chage excessif qui provoque une perte consid\u00e9rable des poils.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Teigne<\/b><\/span><\/h3>

La teigne est une infection fongique contagieuse que les humains peuvent aussi contracter. Elle est caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par des plaques circulaires de peau sans poils et des taches rouges plus ou moins d\u00e9pil\u00e9es sur la t\u00eate.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Queue d\u2019\u00e9talon<\/b><\/span><\/h3>

La queue d\u2019\u00e9talon r\u00e9sulte d\u2019une production excessive de s\u00e9bum (substance brun\u00e2tre malodorante) par les glandes situ\u00e9es pr\u00e8s de la queue.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

\u00c9ryth\u00e8me solaire (coup de soleil)<\/b><\/span><\/h3>

Le risque \u00e0 long terme associ\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ryth\u00e8me solaire est le cancer de la peau. Si votre chat a un pelage p\u00e2le ou si c\u2019est un chat de race sans poil, vous devez prendre les mesures de protection n\u00e9cessaires.<\/span><\/p>
