Les chats miniatures (aussi appel\u00e9s \u00ab chats nains \u00bb) ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 appara\u00eetre aux \u00c9tats-Unis il y a une trentaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es et sont \u00e9lev\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 \u00eatre aussi petits que possible. Les deux plus petits chats de deux races sont accoupl\u00e9s de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration et de chaque accouplement na\u00eet un chat miniature, \u00e9lev\u00e9 purement pour ses attributs physiques. Cette version miniature d\u2019un chat normal, aux pattes plus courtes, ne p\u00e8se pas plus de 4,5 kg \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge adulte.\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\nIl existe des chats miniatures de diff\u00e9rentes races, la plus populaire \u00e9tant un croisement du persan et de l\u2019exotic. Le Napol\u00e9on, petit dernier des chats miniatures, avec son poil long et ses grands yeux, est issu du croisement du Munchkin et du persan.\n\nLes chats miniatures sont non seulement mignons et adorables, mais ils sont aussi faciles \u00e0 transporter et tr\u00e8s affectueux, mais comme n\u2019importe quel chat, ils d\u00e9laissent leurs comportements de chatons avec l\u2019\u00e2ge. Les croisements et l\u2019\u00e9levage de s\u00e9lection qui permettent d\u2019obtenir de si petits chats pourraient donner lieu \u00e0 des probl\u00e8mes ou \u00e0 des troubles de sant\u00e9 pour ces animaux, sans compter le chagrin inflig\u00e9 \u00e0 leurs propri\u00e9taires pour cette raison.\n\nLes persans miniatures sont plus susceptibles de souffrir de difficult\u00e9s respiratoires chroniques, d\u2019infections oculaires et nasales, de probl\u00e8mes de m\u00e2choire nuisant \u00e0 leur capacit\u00e9 de mastiquer les aliments, ainsi que de maladie r\u00e9nale. Les chats \u00e9lev\u00e9s pour leur taille miniature n\u2019arrivent pas \u00e0 r\u00e9guler leur temp\u00e9rature corporelle aussi bien que les chats de taille normaleet sont plus susceptibles d\u2019avoir des maladies buccodentaires, des maladies du c\u0153ur, des anomalies neurologiques, des probl\u00e8mes oculaires et une courte dur\u00e9e de vie, et la petite taille de leurs os et de leurs articulations les pr\u00e9disposent davantage \u00e0 l\u2019arthrite et aux blessures.\n\nLes mignons chats miniatures sont un bon choix pour les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es, les personnes ayant un petit appartement et les familles avec des enfants, mais il faut garder \u00e0 l\u2019esprit qu\u2019ils n\u00e9cessitent des soins particuliers et beaucoup d\u2019attention!
