Au Canada, certains animaux exotiques peuvent \u00eatre gard\u00e9s l\u00e9galement comme animaux de compagnie dans certaines r\u00e9gions.<\/span><\/h2>\n

CAPYBARA<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Pensez \u00e0 un hamster\u2026 de la taille d\u2019un chien. Il s\u2019agit du capybara (ou cabiai), le plus gros rongeur vivant du monde, originaire de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Sud. Il ing\u00e8re de grandes quantit\u00e9s d\u2019herbes et a besoin d\u2019un endroit pour se baigner.<\/p>\n\n

FENNEC <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Ce petit renard a de grandes oreilles et n\u2019aime pas les bruits forts. Il est en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral affectueux et enjou\u00e9, mais est aussi ind\u00e9pendant. On retrouve le fennec dans le Sahara en Afrique du Nord, la p\u00e9ninsule du Sina\u00ef en \u00c9gypte, le sud-ouest d\u2019Isra\u00ebl (d\u00e9sert d\u2019Arava) et le d\u00e9sert d\u2019Arabie. <\/p>\n\n

H\u00c9RISSON<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Le h\u00e9risson est un animal r\u00e9serv\u00e9 reconnu pour ses \u00e9pines, sa nature nocturne et son auto-onction (l\u00e8che\/m\u00e2che quelque chose qui a une odeur int\u00e9ressante et le fait saliver, puis r\u00e9pand sa salive sur ses \u00e9pines).<\/p>\n\n

CERF MUNTJAC<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Le jeune cerf muntjac, aussi appel\u00e9 chevreuil qui aboie, ressemble au petit Bambi dans le film d\u2019animation de 1942. Il est sans surprise reconnu pour aboyer comme un chien et pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 son nom. Comme animal de compagnie, on peut l\u2019entra\u00eener \u00e0 aller dans une liti\u00e8re. Dans la nature, le cerf muntjac (originaire de l\u2019Asie du Sud) est de nature solitaire et nocturne.<\/p>\n\n

PHALANGER DU SUCRE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Le phalanger du sucre est un marsupial (mammif\u00e8re consid\u00e9r\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement comme faisant partie des mammif\u00e8res \u00e0 poche). Leur nom dit tout : il adore les aliments sucr\u00e9s et il peut planer. Il est sociable et il r\u00e9pond g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e0 son nom et aux commandes. Les phalangers du sucre devraient \u00eatre gard\u00e9s en paires puisqu\u2019ils ne tol\u00e8rent pas tr\u00e8s bien la solitude.<\/p>\n\n

WALLABY<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Le wallaby est un marsupial originaire d\u2019Australie qui se nourrit de plantes. Ce petit animal qui ressemble \u00e0 un kangourou est sociable et peut \u00eatre dress\u00e9, mais il a besoin d\u2019espace pour jouer. Le wallaby dort aussi beaucoup, ce qu\u2019il aime bien faire dans une poche.<\/p>\n
