The Mosborough Busy Busy Lions Club (MBBLC) is hosting a dog-friendly Christmas artisan market at St. Matthew on the Plains on Sunday, Nov. 17, to raise money for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides (LFCDG).

The market, titled the Perfectly Pawsome Pawty, is the largest in-person event that the MBBLC has ever arranged, and all proceeds from the market will be donated to the LFCDG, which provides guide dogs to Canadians with disabilities for free and is run entirely on donations. It costs around $35,000 for the not-for-profit group to train and place each guide dog.

The market will feature more than 35 vendors selling handmade goods and services, and there will be dog nail trims and photo opportunities with Santa.

The Perfectly Pawsome Pawty runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17. Attendees are invited to bring their dogs, who must be leashed at all times and fully vaccinated.
